This year, the Persephone team enjoyed a great amount of attention at the Plant and Animal Genome conference in San Diego, both in our two workshop presentations as well as at the exhibition.

At our exhibit booth, we’ve had the opportunity to meet many scientists who expressed keen interest in Persephone. Such interactions always prove fruitful for us, as they provide an excellent opportunity to gather user feedback.

At our workshop session, we introduced our attendees to the platform’s core functionality and several innovative features. The workshop’s highlight was the series of presentations by scientists who shared their experiences applying Persephone to their research, and witnessing our tools yield tangible scientific results was truly exhilarating. Special thanks go to Eric Ganko (Syngenta Crop Protection), George Stack (Cornell University), and Nickolai Alexandrov (Thermo Fisher Scientific) for their insightful contributions. The event concluded in a round-table discussion, providing a forum for gathering user requests for new features. We eagerly look forward to unveiling some of these enhancements in the near future.
