A Small New Feature: Statistics Of Available Genomic Sequences – Desktop Version

The map set property form in the Windows version of Persephone has now a new tab: Statistics. It lists a few metrics of the genomic sequences of the map set, such as the total sequence length, the percentage of the genome assembled in chromosomes, number of Ns, etc. It also shows the distribution of the sequence lengths, which is especially useful if you want to overview the scaffold collection.
Access this new tab via the map set properties form – right click on the map set in the tree on the left and select the Statistics tab.
