The genome of Geisha variety was downloaded from Phytozome. It has gene annotation, which allows us to link the sequences to other coffee genomes by calculating the orthologous gene pairs. The newly introduced multimap interface clusters the individual links and produces ribbon connectors shown in an interactive graphics like this:
