We continue to support and learn from the largest International Plant and Animal Genome meeting in San Diego CA. Many thanks to all who stopped by our exhibit.

This year was  special for us because we were able to showcase a host of new features that we added to both of our Windows as well as the Web platform. Many of these features are a direct result of our interactions we had with attendees that visited us during last year’s conference.

The Web version had a major upgrade: users can now add their custom tracks. We started with marker mapping files provided in .csv or .xlsx format. The users can load files with millions of positions, such as repeat masking coordinates.

Another addition that made a major impact is visualizing bam files. We have tested the system with files of large sizes, such as 200 GB! Even with the load like this, Persephone shows smooth animation due to WebGL used to power the graphics and smart indexing tricks.

For our customers who continue to love and support our flagship Windows version, we added  the following new features:

We continue to remain customer focused. We realize that you have other choices but continue helping us to make a better product. Your feedback and recommendations is why we continue to come to this conference year after year.  We will soon update our road map and timeline for newly requested features. Please bookmark and visit us often.  If you have any questions, please contact us for a one-on-one consultation.

Looking forward to see you again next year in beautiful San Diego CA.
