Feature Update: Sequence Histograms in Bird’s-Eye View of Genomes
As you probably noticed, when the Persephone’s stage is empty, we show a graphical representation of the selected genome. We made the overview of the maps more informative by adding the sequence histograms. They are based on the GC content of the sequences and indicate the locations of the poly-N spacers, shown in blue.

By the way, these histograms are also available for the user-uploaded map sets. Combined with the genome statistics page, they provide a convenient way to efficiently analyze and characterize the contents of any genome. Just drag and drop your collection of sequences and review the quickly generated sequence summary.
