Feature Update: Fine Control Over Data Displayed in Tables
Persephone uses tables in multiple parts of the interface. We have added extra context menus to most of them, providing control over the way the data is displayed. For example, users can now edit columns by selecting checkboxes in the list of available columns. One of the main tables, which shows the list of maps, can also be modified. Here is the context menu used to add the Map Accession column:
The menu contents are dynamic. Sometimes, you can see an item that will provide a grouping of the values in the column.
One of the most valuable features of the new menu is the “Copy” option. It enables users to copy an entire data set, a single cell, or, conveniently, a column to the clipboard.
