Another publication in Nature mentions Persephone
A new work called “Chromosome-scale assembly of the wild wheat relative Aegilops umbellulata” has been published in Nature. The data for the genome of Aegilops umbellulata is hosted at the Persephone web portal. Two of our colleagues (Maxim Troukhan and Maksym Kravchuk) from Persephone Software are among the authors of this publication. The construction of a chromosome-scale reference assembly of Ae. umbellulata accession TA1851 has been based on corrected PacBio HiFi reads and chromosome conformation capture.
