Persephone Software at PAG 2023
We just came back from the Plant and Animal Genome conference in San Diego.
For three days of the exhibits, we were meeting scientists who expressed interest in Persephone at our booth. We are always happy to listen to the users’ feedback, and PAG provides an excellent opportunity for the one-on-one conversations.
There were quite a few people at the Persephone workshop where we walked over the main functionality of the platform and introduced several new features. The best part of the workshop was the talks by the scientists who used Persephone in their research. It was exciting to see our tools producing real scientific results. We are grateful to Tatiana Tatarinova (University of Laverne), Luis Rivera (KAUST), and Ramu Punna (Corteva Agriscience). The meeting was concluded with a round-table discussion where we collected user requests for new functionality. We hope to present some of the new features in the near future.
