Persephone Presented at PAG
Many thanks to all the visitors who stopped by our booth at PAG, as well as those who attended Max Troukhan’s talk at the IRIC workshop. If you did not get a chance to see our demo, don’t worry — a web-based version of Persephone is now freely available at http://web.persephonesoft.com. Currently, this version allows users to view and compare genomes of Oryza sativa ssp. japonica and Oryza sativa ssp. indica, as well as Arabidopsis thaliana, and the recently published version of Sorghum bicolor. If you have your favorite genome, please let us know and we will try to add it to the data set.
In addition, we are preparing to deploy a free trial of the Windows version of Persephone, which will be ready shortly. The Windows version of our software contains many features not yet available on the Web, notably QTLs, SNPs, and quantitative tracks.
If you would like to try out Persephone in-house, we’d love to help! Contact us at https://persephonesoft.com/contact, and we will be happy to help you install the entire Persephone stack and populate it with your data
